Canoeing Through Sea Caves and Hongs

The National Park is set in the Andaman Sea, northwest of Krabi. It contains some of the worlds scenic wonders and is renown for its amazing limestone sea mountains that jut from the sea as vertical rock walls. Many islands are uninhabited and the bay is largely untouched by civilization. Hidden in the islands are numerous caves, tunnels and lagoons better known as "hongs" (Thai for room). The Hongs are created by collapsed caverns eroded by natural forces over millions of years. Some of them can be explored via tunnels when the tide is just right.....
